Tillverkning av siamesiska tvillingar
Tillverkning av siamesiska tvillingar. Enligt vittnesuppgifter från Förintelseöverlevare tillverkades siamesiska tvillingar genom att sy ihop vanliga tvillingar. Det medicinska experimentet tillskrivs oftast Josef Mengele som anses ha praktiserat dessa övergrepp i koncentrationslägret Auschwitz. Förintelseöverlevaren Vera Alexander vittnade den 8 juni 1961 i rättegången mot Adolf Eichmann att hon bevittnat hur Josef Mengele sydda ihop två tvillingar, rygg-mot-rygg. Även Eva Mozes Kor har uppgett att hon sett ihopsydda tvillingar.

- Lodi News-Sentinel den 11 februari 1985:
- "Witnesses say he tried once to create Siemese twins by sweing normal twins together, that he inflicted fatal burns on a group of nuns by overdosing them with X-rays, that he tried to change prisoners´ eye color by giving injections that blinded and killed."[2]

One survivor of the Auschwitz-Birkenau death camp in Poland described how he had had one of his testicles removed on order of Nazi Medical Researcher Josef Mengele. Another recalled that the doctor had taken two toddler twins and sewed them together as Siamese twins."[3]

- "Mengele was infamous for his sadistic experiments in the death camps. He injected dye into the eyes of twins to change their color and sewed them together to try to create artificially conjoined twins.
