The Oxford History of the Biblical World är en bok skriven av Michael D. Coogan, professor i religösa studier vid Stonehill College in Easton, Massachusetts, USA. Boken, som behandlar bland annat arkeologisk forskning i förhållande till bibliska texter, tar även upp det kontroversiella ämnet huruvida delar av Bibeln innehåller sanningsenliga berättelser eller ej. Bland annat berörs den religiöst och politiskt laddade frågan att judarnas uttåg i Egypten kan vara en ren fabrikation.
