Matt Taibbi, född Matthew Taibbi den 2 mars 1970 i Boston, USA. Euro-amerikansk journalist som bland annat tjänstgjort för Rolling Stone, Men's Journal, The eXile, The New York Press och The Beast. Har i en artikel med titeln The Great American Bubble Machine juli 2009 liknat banken Goldman Sachs vid en vampyrbläckfisk (Vampyroteuthis infernalis) kring mänsklighetens ansikte.[1][2]
