Imre Kertész
Imre Kertész, född 9 november 1929 i Ungern, död 31 mars 2016 i Budapest. Judisk överlevare av Förintelsen och författare till ett flertal böcker. Deporterades som 14-åring till koncentrationslägret Auschwitz där han under en tid låg inlagd på sjukhus innan han förflyttades till Buchenwald. Kertész fick Nobelpriset i litteratur år 2002. I sin bok Mannen utan öde skriver Kertész om fotbollsplanen i Auschwitz-Birkenau.
