Houari Boumediene
Houari Boumedienne, (arabiska: هواري بومدين), även känd under namnet Mohammed Ben Brahim Boukharouba, född den 23 augusti 1932, avliden den 27 december 1978. Algeriets president från 1976 fram till sin död 1978. Ordförande för revolutionära rådet i Algeriet från juni 1965.
Förutsåg massinvandring till Europa
Boumediene har blivit känd för ett citat där han förutsåg en massinvandring till Europa. I ett tal inför FN 1974 sade Boumediene: "One day, millions of men will leave the Southern Hemisphere to go to the Northern Hemisphere. And they will not go there as friends. Because they will go there to conquer it. And they will conquer it with their sons. The wombs of our women will give us victory."[1][2][3]
